Since 1938 the primary purpose of the Houdini Club has been to promote magic and it's kindred arts to the highest degree and to perpetuate the name of Harry Houdini, Wisconsin's illustrious magician. Our members include full time & part time professional magicians, retired magicians, magic collectors and historians, and hobbyists. All of them here for the love of magic. Find out more.
Our slogan is "Nothing Beats Fun" ~ and it's the truth!
The annual Houdini Convention during labor day weekend is the highlight of our year. It features world class magic shows, contests, dealers, merchandise, lectures and educational programs, an awards banquet, and is always full of fun times visiting with old members and meeting new ones. Evening performances are open to the public.
The Houdini Gram is the official Houdini Club newsletter devoted to fellow magicians, upcoming magic activities, useful magic tips, reviews, etc. You must be a member to get the full issue. (Julie Sobanski editor)
Club Member Activity Meetings are held 5 times a year at various restaurants around the Milwaukee area. After the officers meeting there are cocktails, dinner and themed magic performances and camaraderie. Become a member and join the fun.
