WELCOME!  Since 1938 the primary purpose of the Houdini Club has been to promote magic and it's kindred arts to the highest degree and to perpetuate the name of Harry Houdini, Wisconsin's illustrious magician. Our members include full time & part time professional magicians, retired magicians, magic collectors and historians, and hobbyists.  All of them here for the love of magic. Find out more Our slogan is "Nothing Beats Fun" ~ and it's the truth!

The annual Houdini Convention during labor day weekend is the highlight of our year. It features world class magic shows, contests, dealers, merchandise, lectures and educational programs, an awards banquet, and is always full of fun times visiting with old members and meeting new ones.  Evening shows are open to the public.

The Houdini Gram is the official Houdini Club newsletter devoted to fellow magicians, upcoming magic activities, useful magic tips, reviews, etc.  You must be a member to get the full issue. (Julie Sobanski editor)
 
Club Member Activity Meetings are held 5 times a year at various restaurants around the Milwaukee area.  While  the officers meeting is being held you can enjoy cocktails followed by dinner, magic performances and camaraderie.  Become a member and join the fun.

Keith Fields - Originally from England, having moved to the USA in 2009. Keith will work a stage spot, close-up and lecture. He is a pro continuing to work corporate events, cruises, trade shows and the occasional magic conventions. His magic plays on some "English" humor.
The Reed Sisters - Jessica, Shayna and Mandy are 2 lovely young ladies that have presented their magic nationally and internationally. Due to the uniqueness of the sisters relationship ad talent, they have enjoyed a demand for their magic. They will appear on the Saturday evening stage show.
Danny Orleans - A multifaceted performer who specializes from corporate and trade shows to children events. He will M.C. the Saturday evening show and work a show spot. Additionally appearing on the Saturday close-up show. Danny lectures Sunday with "The Art of Presenting Magic to Children."
Jan Rose - As part of the Saturday evening show, this lady becomes the major player in some mind reading that adds variety and comedy to the evening.
Tristan Crist - Since 2006 Tristan has been appearing with his magic and illusion show at Circus World in Baraboo, WI. He will break away from his regular gig to appear on the Friday night show.
Trent James - This name may not be familiar to you. This young man is 16 years old with a talent well beyond his age. A recent major appearance was at the 2012 I.B.M. Convention where he closed the Stars of Tomorrow Show. Trent appears on the Saturday stage show with his exciting theme act.
The Balsters - Tim and Robin have toured with their magic throughout the country. They do it all, even on skates in ice shows. We have them scheduled to close Friday night with birds, manipulations and illusions. All the great stuff that personifies magic.
